about stephanie

Stephanie Scotti is Professionally Speaking and has 25+ years coaching corporate executives, business leaders, sales and marketing teams, and legal and medical professionals on how to deliver high-stakes presentations.

You can trace Stephanie’s passion in communication skills training all the way back to the 10th grade and Mrs. Griffith’s speech class at Hampton High School in Hampton, VA. At 15 years old, Stephanie basked in the humbling applause of an audience for the very first time. At that moment, she discovered just how powerful effective communication could be, and wanted everyone to feel the exhilaration of connecting with an audience.

From that point, her destiny was set. Since then Stephanie has been privileged to work with thousands of individuals worldwide, from commoners to kings (well, high-ranking cabinet officials, but you get the idea), helping them to become more accomplished and effective communicators when the stakes are high and they need to be at their very best.

Clients range from native English speakers to communicators from Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East, for whom English is a second language.

Highly regarded for her effective and insightful style of speech coaching, Stephanie enhances a client's natural abilities to engage, involve, and inspire listeners by building on individual strengths and personal style. Applying her proprietary C.O.D.E™ methodology, she provides practical tools and personalized feedback that result in immediate, noticeable improvement.

Her professional training includes a BA in Speech Communications and Education and an MS in Organizational Communications and Management. An active member of the National Speakers Association, Stephanie has received several awards in recognition of both her performance and leadership. In addition, she taught for eight years at Duke University.
